Mike's practice focuses on toxic tort liability, products liability, commercial and residential real estate matters, and business development.
Mike's toxic tort practice involves the defense of manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in Massachusetts and Rhode Island mass tort litigation.
He represents several small businesses, including a regional sightseeing tour company and a local restaurant/music venue. His experience includes the formation and organization of these companies, contract and settlement negotiation and licensing/permitting before local and state boards.
In addition, Mr. Capuano represents a plaintiff in Federal Court in Massachusetts for Lanham Act violations regarding plaintiff's numismatic labeling methodologies.
While in law school, Mike participated in an extended internship at the Massachusetts Appeals Court under Justice Mel L. Greenberg. He also worked as a law clerk to several Massachusetts firms where he gained experience in the areas of municipal law, real estate, premises liability, and criminal law.
Most recently, Mike has served as a judge at the American Bar Association's law school regional oral advocacy competition finals. He is a member of the American Bar Association.
