Jonathan focuses on the defense of complex products liability and toxic tort litigation. In that capacity he is part of a team of attorneys that defend and advise clients on a local, regional and national level, and act as defense liaison counsel for asbestos actions in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Cetrulo LLP, Jonathan worked at a firm specializing in the defense of product liability actions throughout New England. Clients included manufacturers, distributors and retailers of automobiles, ATVs, heavy equipment, factory machines, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and household goods.
After law school, Jonathan clerked for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court in Suffolk, Middlesex and Worcester counties. During the clerkship he assisted the Justices on a wide variety of civil and criminal matters at motion hearings and during trial.
During law school, Jonathan represented individuals claiming political asylum before the United States Immigration Court in Baltimore. Jonathan managed to secure political asylum for two student activists who claimed persecution by governmental authorities based upon their political activities in Cameroon. He also worked for the Washington D.C. Public Defender Service and at a successful general practice in downtown Baltimore.Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys running and indoor soccer, and is a keen supporter of Nottingham Forest Football Club and Leicester Tigers rugby team in England.
