In Pro Bono Representation, Firm Client’s Conviction Overturned by Appeals Court
In June, 2012, the Massachusetts Appeals Court reversed a guilty judgment of the Superior Court on a possession with intent to distribute count. The defendant was represented at the Appeals Court level by Firm Associate Attorney, Robert J. L. Moore, whose representation was provided on a pro bono basis pursuant to the Firm’s pro bono program. The case is Commonwealth v. Acosta, 81 Mass. App. Ct. 836 (2012).
