Catherine White honored as one of the 2015 Top Women of Law
Catherine White , “Of Counsel” to Cetrulo LLP, has been named by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of the 2015 Top Women of Law. The award honors women who “have made tremendous strides and demonstrated great accomplishments in the legal field” and highlights “women who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers, and role models.”
The award honors Catherine’s most distinguished legal career. Following several years as a litigator at the Boston law firm, Burns & Levinson, she served as Assistant Legal Counsel to Governor Michael Dukakis, as assistant Attorney General under Francis X. Bellotti, and as Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Court from 1987 to 2006, following which she joined Cetrulo LLP. Catherine has also served on the Board of Trustees of Northeastern University from 1990 to 2010.
Catherine’s sage advice to the attorneys of Cetrulo LLP, based on her extensive experience in the Massachusetts court system, has proven of immeasurable benefit to the firms litigation practice. Most notably, Catherine has acted as a model for, and mentor to, the firm’s younger attorneys, especially its women attorneys.
Cetrulo LLP salutes Catherine, our friend and colleague, for this most deserved honor.
