Compliance Without Cost: Understanding and Avoiding the Potential Economic Impact of Changes to Federal Overtime Regulations

Elizabeth Dillon and Lauren Hall, Associate attorneys at Cetrulo LLP, wrote an article entitled “Compliance Without Cost: Understanding and Avoiding the Potential Economic Impact of Changes to Federal Overtime Regulations” which was published in the January/February, 2017 edition of the Massachusetts Lawyers Journal. The article discusses the impact of a recent injunction issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, preventing the Department of Labor from implementing its recent changes to Federal overtime regulations, as well as the potential impact of the regulations. The article further suggests methods of compliance aimed at minimizing the regulations’ financial impact.
