Partner Kyle Bjornlund moderated the panel “Communicating to Juries After 2020 – Lessons Learned from the Pandemic, BLM, and Virtual Trials” at the 2022 DRI Toxic Torts & Environmental Law Seminar on March 15th. Kyle was joined by Suntrease Williams-Maynard, Jill Leibold Ph.D., and Lisa Oberg to evaluate changes in jury perceptions as a result of COVID-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement. The panel also discussed lessons learned from virtual trials, and recommended strategies to communicate effectively to juries while remote.
