Denis focuses his practice primarily in the area of civil litigation and insurance defense, with a concentration on toxic tort products liability. Denis is also a member of the national coordinating counsel team that manages multi-jurisdictional toxic tort litigation for a Fortune 500 company. In that capacity, Denis has become an instrumental part in the defense of hundreds of toxic tort product liability cases nationwide while implementing innovative legal strategies aimed at achieving quick, cost-conscious and result-oriented outcomes.

In addition, Denis assists clients on a pro-bono basis in areas such as personal injury, unemployment benefits hearings, and collection proceedings. Denis also periodically publishes articles with the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation focusing on different areas of practice, including Real Estate and Trust litigation.

While in law school, Denis interned at the Queens, New York Supreme Court for Justice Darrell L. Gavrin, and at the Suffolk County Superior Courthouse in Boston for Justice Bonnie H. MacLeod. Denis was also involved with the New York City Unemployment Action Center, where he represented clients in front of administrative law judges during employment termination hearings.

Denis has also worked as an associate portfolio analyst for a Fortune 100 insurance company where his duties focused on complex data analysis.

In his free time, Denis enjoys spending time with his family and taking road trips alongside the New England coast.

  • Obtained favorable settlement for equipment manufacturer after extensive negotiations with plaintiff’s counsel during first day of jury selection in trial involving mesothelioma plaintiff.
  • Assisted in successfully defending corporate representative deposition in group of cases involving twenty-five (25) plaintiffs resulting in disposition of all matters for nominal value.
  • Successfully negotiated dismissal of claim against heavy equipment manufacturer in claim alleging exposure to insulation on Navy ships.
  • Attained favorable settlement for small component part manufacturer in case alleging building fire caused by defective appliance.
