Partner Stephen L. Rossetti, Jr. Speaks on Lead in Water Cases at CLM Southeast Conference in Atlanta

Cetrulo LLP Partner Stephen L. Rossetti, Jr. was a featured panelist at CLM’s Southeast Claims Conference in Atlanta, GA on November 8-9, 2018. Mr. Rossetti’s panel, Lead in Drinking Water: Should you be Worried?, addressed: 1) State regulators, prompted by lead exposure concerns and public focus, are lowering acceptable drinking water levels and requiring statewide water testing in schools, pre-schools & day care centers; 2) Testing and reporting by such facilities and the new levels; 3) Early signs of excessive lead exposure which includes cardiac and neurological changes (transient or permanent), and death; 4) The Claimants, Defendants, Causes of Action (constitutional due process claims and bodily injury claims), Defenses and status of the litigation resulting from the Flint, MI water crisis; 6) A survey of other lead in water cases in drinking water throughout the United States; and 7) Current regulatory and liability concerns and risks for private premise defendants.  Special thanks to Xavier Q.
